Centro Hospital do Porto is one of the main hospitals in Portugal with 800 beds in unit dose system. Our central pharmacy has invested in Pharmapick (...) to increase the security of dispensing and to reduce the operational costs. (...) The use of the robot for preparing unit dose allowed reducing the time devoted to this task from 35 to 26 work hours daily. The robot dispenses approximately 2900 picking lines daily (...). Pharmapick is a very recommendable solution for hospital pharmacies and (...) we keep showing it in conferences.

UNIHEALTH is the Brazilian leading Hospital Logistics service provider. Because we are always seeking to cut operating costs and increased safety to patients, we decided to invest in Pharmapick, being the first unit installed in Hospital IPSEMG, a 400 beds hospital located in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.
That decision has proven cost-effective: we have increased productivity, eliminated 3 satellite pharmacies, reduced the workforce in 10 people and - last but not the least - complains from dispensing errors were eliminated.

When I learnt about your project and observed the prototype at Hospital Santo Antonio (Porto-Portugal), I was so impressed that I wrote a paper for “Executive Digest” magazine. (...) Pharmapick impressed me with its ability to “listen” to customer needs and specific hospital requirements. (...) You designed a system that represents a new paradigm in Hospital Central Pharmacy, gathering complex features such as Security, Fast dispensing, Flexibility, Simplicity of Use, and Patient Safety. (...) I am looking forward to learning more about your new innovations."

As the President of the Hospital Unidade Local de Saude de Matosinhos, we were very pleased to learn about Pharmapick. (...) We do believe Pharmapick generates significant savings and benefits in the hospital environment, with applications such as Central Pharmacy Automation, Surgery Center dispensing, or blood storage. We look forward to equipping our hospital with Pharmapick; however, due to the current economic context and budget constraints, we are unable to invest in the short term. (...) I do believe Pharmapick has great potential in the worldwide hospital market, especially in those using unit dose systems.
Dr Victor HerdeiroFMR President of Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos
It’s obvious that Pharmapick means an important advance in the automation process in hospital central pharmacy. (...) The most relevant are: 1. Only one item to the operator: it prevents errors in both picking and replenishment operations. 2. Two workstations: allows simultaneous workflows. 3. Two workstations: increases productivity compared to vertical carousels. 4. Emergency access mode: ensures 100% system availability. 5. Integration of different temperatures: enables storing all required drugs in one system with no need for additional units.
